Imperfect Portraits Watercolor Class - using pencil, pen, and mostly watercolor we'll create portraits with an emphasis on imperfect. Allowing ourselves to play and let go of preconcieved ideas, we'll create using colors, lines, and movement. It's about letting go of expectations, enjoying the process, playing, and accepting the outcome with joy, or at least some laughter.
What you can expect:
- Learn basic tools, mediums, and techniques for drawing and painting portraits
- How to create your own style of portrait
- Shutting off the ‘edit’ button, and allowing your heart and hands to do the work
- Go home with multiple paintings and a beginners watercolor set
Tools and Materials Needed
All material and tools will be provided.
(Paper, pens, watercolor, brushes, etc., drink/snacks!)

Anna Hooser is a Seattle based painter with a messy and imperfect life and the drive to enjoy every moment of it. Her genuine desire to love people where they are at is the driving force for her portraits and floral paintings and her tendency to color outside the lines.
